Believe it or not, finches and canaries LOVE pellets. Especially the fruit-flavored ones. Mix in with their egg food to encourage them to try something new. Use a treat cup, add a bit of water to soften the pellets, and it can often encourage breeding. Replacing, or reducing the need for live food while rearing their young.
