8W Tropical Forest Exo Terra LED bulbs

The 8W Tropical Forest Exo Terra LED Bulbs are energy efficient, come with self-ballast and with a screwed base. It is an ideal light source for bioactive planted terrariums. Its high levels of visible light contribute to the physiological well-being of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. It also allows them to experience and perceive the colors in their environment in a more natural way.

These bulbs are available in two models: The LED 8W Deep Forest 4500k Exo Terra and the LED 8w Forest Canopy 6500k Exo Terra.

The specific wavelength composition of the  LED Deep Forest  and the  LED Forest Canopy , in combination with the high intensity of light they produce, contribute to the  constant and exuberant growth of the plants.

LED 8W 4500k Deep Forest EXO TERRA

The 4500k Deep Forest simulates the filtered sunlight conditions found in the understory of the Tropical Forest, and the orchids, bromeliads, tillandsias (air plants), carnivorous plants, mosses and lichens, which live in the lower layers of the Bosquem thrive under their strong active photosynthetic radiation.

LED 8W 6500k Forest CANOPY EXO TERRA

The 6500k Forest Canopy simulates the unfiltered sunlight conditions found  in the Tropical Forest canopy, and all plants that live in the upper layers of the forest thrive under its strong active photosynthetic radiation.

SPECIAL FEATURES

A  light source  can have many colors mixed in different amounts (intensities), when all visible frequencies are equally present, the effect we see is white "color", and the frequency spectrum is uniform. In led devices, there are two basic ways to produce white light. In this case, the 8W Tropical Forest Exo Terra LED Bulbs use individual LEDs that emit the three primary colors (red, green and blue) and then mix the colors to form white light.

They are differentiated by the color temperature , the Deep Forest with a temperature of 4500K and the Forest Canopy with one of 6500k.

The wavelength of  these LED Bulbs regulates a healthy growth rate  for plants and promotes flowering, coloration of leaves, stems, and roots.

The base of the Bulb can be rotated at an angle of 300º  to direct the beam of light it offers, towards a specific area in the terrarium where it is desired to install. Thus, lush plant growth is achieved.

 

The light levels are high enough to simulate the light conditions of the Tropical Forest. These LED bulbs are energy efficient for plant growth, and are designed for use in bioactive planted terrariums.
