Instructions for use:

Expose the card to a light source for 10 seconds.

Tropical Species- 13-30 W/cm2- When lights are used 10-12 hours per day.
Desert Species- 13-150 W/cm2- When lights are used 10-12 hours per day.

***lights with less than 13 microwatts at the basking spot should not be used as they are incapable of providing enough UVB. Levels above 150 microwatts are seen in nature but can be dangerous in a captive setting.
**Screen covers filter out some UVB from all lamps.
* Glass, plastic, and plexiglass filter out 100% of the UVB.

This card is made of ultraviolet color-changing materials, which are only sensitive to ultraviolet rays, and another visible light is invalid. Place the UV-sensitive area of the card in the sun, the stronger the UV in the sunlight, the darker the color.
