The 12 Naturalistic Terrarium Hood includes a built-in reflector and socket for heat or UVB lamps. This hood fits all 12 wide Naturalistic Terrariums (Zoo Med items# NT-1 or NT-2). UVB: Use with Zoo Meds Reptisun 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp for both UVB and UVA. Daytime Heat: Use Zoo Meds Daylight Blue Reptile Bulb (up to 60 watts).24-Hour Heat: Use Zoo Meds Nightlight Red Reptile Bulb (up to 60 watts)
Use Instructions: This fixture is designed for use with two 60 watts (max) type A incandescent lamps, or one 26-watt compact fluorescent lamp in conjunction with one 60 watts (max) type A lamp. Do not exceed the electrical rating. This product is designed for terrarium use only. Not for aquarium use. Do not touch the bulbs or the inside of the fixture when the fixture is in operation. Installing or replacing bulbs: Turn the fixture off, unplug, and allow bulbs to cool before handling. To turn the fixture off, press the on/off switches located on the back of the fixture near the power cord. After the bulb has cooled, carefully unscrew the bulbs from the sockets, and replace them with new bulbs. Place the fixture on top of the terrarium above the screen cover. Fully insert the plug into the power outlet. Turn the fixture on using the on/off switches located on the back of the fixture near the power cord.
